Structural Design Engineer

Acara Solution is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for it's client in Grapeland, TX. The Design Engineer is responsible for designing open web steel joists and ensuring that all products meet the design requirements for a wide range of projects, from small gas stations to large athletic stadiums and multimillion-square-foot warehouses across the country. The salary is between 95-125K annually plus bonus and profit sharing. Main Responsibilities : -Perform design work in accordance with industry standards and Vulcraft manufacturing processes.-Review contract documents, including structural drawings, architectural drawings, and project specifications.-Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teammates during project design and development.-Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals.-Promote company products to specifiers and at conventions.-Assist junior engineers and interns.Required Skills / Qualifications : Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Professional Engineering license Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
