The job duties for the position of Quality Assurance Lead are listed below.
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Lead is primarily responsible for coordinating and implementing Agency policy and procedures to ensure compliance with Documentation at a state and federal level.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance policies that align with HHSC, Medicaid, VA-CCN, and private pay regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of client records, service plans, and caregiver documentation to ensure compliance.
- Monitor service utilization and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and incident reporting requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to field staff, caregivers, and administrative teams on state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on policy changes from HHSC, Medicaid, VA-CCN, and other regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Minimum of 2 years of personal care QA experience within Texas, understanding of TMHP regulations
