About The Role
The Commercial Partnerships Associate plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing relationships with premier talent, including top-tier publishers, large-scale influencers, and those with minimum guarantee (MG) agreements. This position is the critical bridge between Sales and Account Management, responsible for vetting brand and campaign requests, coordinating rate card negotiations, and tracking revenue goals for creators and networks.The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the creator ecosystem, a sharp eye for content trends, and the ability to navigate the nuances of commercial partnerships with creators.
Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Talent Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with a portfolio of premier talent, including influencers, publishers, and creators under MG agreements.
- Serve as the main point of commercial contact for talent, ensuring their needs and capabilities are effectively aligned with brand opportunities.
- Educate internal stakeholders on talent-specific strengths, content styles, and audience demographics to maximize campaign success.
- Brand and Campaign Vetting: Tracking brand approvals and rejection, and trend spotting commercial and creator interest Gather and analyze rate cards for social, video, and other formats, providing strategic insights to internal teams on talent pricing and value.
- Proactively identify potential challenges or gaps in campaign fulfillment and propose solutions.
- Campaign Fulfillment Coordination: Act as the go-between for Sales, Content and Account Management to ensure campaign details are clearly communicated and executed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve fulfillment challenges and optimize processes for future activations.
- Industry Expertise and Strategy: Maintain a keen awareness of creator trends, content verticals, and advertising/commercial best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and platform guidelines related to branded content, disclosure requirements, and talent contracts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales to identify and pitch the best talent for campaigns based on brand objectives and target audiences.
- Partner with Account Management to ensure alignment on campaign deliverables, talent capabilities, and key performance indicators.
- Liaise with legal and finance teams on MG agreements, talent contracts, and payment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Significant past is 3 years of experience in a sales/sales adjacent role, plus talent management, influencer marketing, or a similar experience.
- Strong understanding of the digital creator ecosystem, audio/podcast including social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.), content trends, and advertising practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience working with publishers, large-scale influencers, or creators with MG deals.
- Familiarity with campaign management platforms and tools (e.g., CreatorIQ, Aspire, or similar).
- Demonstrated success in negotiating talent rates and managing high-value campaigns.
- Passion for digital content, creator communities, and the ever-evolving media landscape.
