Your Role: As a Fleet Deckhand, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
- Handling rigging during barge tow building, locking, and docking activities.
- Performing basic vessel maintenance such as painting, cleaning, and changing oil and filters.
- Ensuring the safety of team members and cargo by inspecting and correcting conditions.
- Contributing to a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.
What We Are Looking For...
You will need to have:

Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must be 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain required Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Must be able to complete health questionnaire and pass physical abilities test.

Must be able to carry an 80lb wire for 200 feet without stopping or loss of balance.

Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks.

Must be able to work in inclement weather outdoor, heat and cold.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Basic understanding of navigation and safety procedures.

Positive attitude and adaptability to a unique work schedule.

Adhere to all ACBL policies, United States Coast Guard (USCG), and environmental regulations.
