Our legal team is responsible for providing legal services in areas of law related to the Company’s business and operations.
Location: Bismarck, ND
Wage: $90,000-$175,000/year (depending on experience/skillset)

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Juris Doctor (or equivalent) degree from an accredited law school.
- License to practice law in North Dakota.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills in interacting with peers, management, and external parties.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, both on an individual level and team commitments.
- Excellent analytical skills and independent judgment.
- Experience in the practice of law in area(s) related to the Company’s business and operations.
- Assist the Chief Legal Officer in providing legal advice to internal team members and management of Knife River Corporation and its subsidiaries.
- Provide legal services in areas such as claims and litigation, labor and employment, contracts, real estate and other business transactions, environmental law, corporate governance, securities laws, and legal compliance.
- Assist the Chief Legal Officer in the supervision and coordination of outside counsel.
- Review legal matters that may impact the Company and perform other projects as assigned.
