We are actively seeking Energy Transactions attorneys located in Texas with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on renewable energy and commercial transactions, including M&A, PPAs, and land matters associated with renewable power business development and acquisitions.
- Demonstrated expertise in advising on renewable energy and commercial transactions and experience with drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements.
- Strong understanding of relevant federal and state laws and regulations.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- JD Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active bar license in good standing in the state in which you currently reside.
- Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.
- Provide legal guidance and strategic counsel to internal stakeholders; provide legal support on renewable energy transactions, including M&A, project developments, and service agreements.
- Anticipate issues and provide resources, recommendations, and advice proactively.
- Stay current on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy industry, especially wind and solar.
