Position Overview
The Regional Commercial Counsel - Americas will oversee legal matters for the Brown-Forman U.S. and Latin America Commercial organizations, providing strategic, transactional, and corporate legal advice. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, this role involves collaborating with business partners to identify and resolve complex legal issues, ensuring alignment with business objectives. It also includes developing innovative legal strategies that foster a culture of proactive problem-solving, advising on antitrust and competition law matters, managing a team of two Legal Counsels, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 7 years of legal experience in a private law firm and/or corporate legal department with a JD from an accredited U.S. or European law school. Candidates will have experience in commercial matters, antitrust and competition law, as well as contract drafting and negotiation. The ideal candidate will have beverage and alcohol experience or experience with franchising and distribution.
Location:
Louisville, KY. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Compensation
Commensurate with experience. The package includes base salary, STI, LTI, and excellent benefits.
