What are the responsibilities and job description for the Addictions Counselor position at ACCA?
Responsibilities : Provides clinical counseling services to clients in recovery utilizing treatment knowledge, understanding of addiction, and application of addiction counselor knowledge to practical treatment of clients.Promotes the ACCA's services and obtains referrals.Writes effective treatment plans.Provides individual and group counseling as scheduled. Maintains a caseload of up to 35 clients.Maintains accurate and timely documentation in case records according to agency policy and regulatory requirements.Assists in providing a safe and respectful environment for treatment.Attends and participates in all assigned meetings and committees.Other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by the Program Director.This full-time position will be located in our Outpatient Clinic.Minimum Salary : 22.00 Maximum Salary : 28.00 Salary Unit : Hourly
