Position Overview
A Gather Behavioral Health Therapist is an integral part of the care journey for our clients. Therapists provide personalized outpatient individual and group therapy that is done in collaboration with other team members utilizing comprehensive evidence-based treatment. As part of the Accanto Health family of services, Gather Behavioral Health is growing into the premier outpatient provider for psychotherapy and support for clients with eating disorder, as well as other mental health, and co-occurring substance use problems.
Schedule
Work remotely with flexible hours based on client and therapy needs. Note : Services are rendered in Central Time zone.
How Therapists Empower Recovery
- Conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions with the adolescent client and their family or community of support
- Develops, implements, and monitors individualized treatment plans
- Maintains a case load and clinical records in compliance with policies and regulatory standards
- Actively participates in weekly consultation group discussing clinical and administrative issues, participates in case consultation meetings
- Conducts intake evaluations, generates discharge plans by making treatment and other recommendations and coordinating next level of care services
- Maintains up-to-date therapeutic skills and knowledge of advancements in eating disorders assessment and treatment, best practices, and resources through participation in professional organizations, internal and external training opportunities, and reviewing current academic literature
