Position Overview:
Nurses provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient or residential higher level of care (HLOC) setting.
Schedule
Full-Time, Day coverage (On-site)
Hours - 7:00 am - 7:30 pm EST - 36 hours/week
12 hour shifts rotating weekends and self schedule Monday-Friday.
How Nursing Empowers Recovery
- Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
- Responsible with medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the inpatient and residential setting only, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
- Assists and support medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
- Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed
- Serves as a staff resource for client medical needs and information
Qualifications
- Graduate of Accredited LPN or RN Program
- Licensed as an LPN or RN in North Carolina or compact state
- Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive/Active BLS within 30 days of hire
