Key Responsibilities:

Business Level:

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company s long-term goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports to senior management.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company s assets and ensure financial stability.

Functional Level:

• Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Tax Planning and Reporting: Coordinate with an outside accounting firm for tax planning and reporting.
• R&D Tax Credit Compliance: Work with corporate division managers to achieve proper Research and Development Tax Credit compliance.
• Payroll and 401k Audits: Assist with payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis of manufactured products to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting regulations

• Demonstrated proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAGE ERP or similar.
