Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations in our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a Controller in the manufacturing industry, with a strong background in financial reporting, AR/AP management, general ledger maintenance, and cash flow analysis. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in accounting, finance, and financial planning to ensure the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supervise Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Maintain and manage the General Ledger (GL), ensuring accurate financial records and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis and cash flow management to optimize working capital and business performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and budgeting plans.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Utilize ERP systems to manage financial transactions and reporting effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing environment.
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, AR/AP, and general ledger management.
- Expertise in financial analysis and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or QuickBooks preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are a plus (Not Required).
