Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive contract road map with term wave, expirations and renewals.
- Contract strategy development for new, existing and expiring agreements for med/surg, indirect spend and Captis contracts.
- Analyze Member's spend (including client & local contracts); perform market share analysis and interpretation while also leveraging other member provided analytic tools.
- Identify conversion opportunities and assist with implementation i.e., Value Analysis, supplier negotiations, etc.
- Facilitate and actively participate in meetings with internal stakeholders, Captis operations meetings, Value Analysis teams, and suppliers.
- Effectively communicate upcoming Captis agreements to the VAT.
- Identify savings opportunities by examining total cost and value including, rebates, incentives, administrative fees and other value add services, products and offerings.
- Ensure Member is utilizing the correct client tier, and paying the correct price based on client contract tier eligibility.
- Review pricing across the health system to identify price parity opportunities.
- Present findings to Member's contracting supply chain stakeholder to validate recommendations.
- End to end contract support to include: detailed cost analysis, savings/increase documentation, contract negotiations and document review to final sign off and implementation. (Document review does not replace Members legal review.)
- Provide contract training and educational support for current sourcing team.
- Produce monthly project status updates to Member project sponsor and client project lead.
