CNA / Nurse Assistant/LTC:

Duration:13 Weeks

Start:05/13/2025

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Description:

CNA in Long-Term Care provides basic patient care under nurse supervision, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. They monitor vital signs, report changes in health status, and support residents’ comfort and dignity. The role requires compassion, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Shift: 4x12 Variable (or 3x12 Variable - traveler's choice)

  • Note that caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs). Shifts will be either Days or Nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date.

Ratios: 1:20

Open to accommodating a block schedule: No

Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility

Pending License Accepted: Yes - but must submit license application within 72 hours of signing or contract will be canceled

RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer

Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

Vehicle information:

Facility will arrange for a vehicle for traveler to use while on assignment. The vehicle will either be a facility owned vehicle that will be rented to traveler or a vehicle through a rental car company.

Vehicle will be available for use no earlier than 72 hours before contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after contract ends.

Only the traveler is authorized to be the operator of the vehicle.

Traveler must provide copy of valid driver’s license and proof of insurance prior to operating vehicle.

Traveler’s personal vehicle insurance policy must have rental car insurance to cover any accidents/damages to a rental car.

Vehicles for traveler use are provided solely for use “around town” and should not be taken off-road or outside of 30-mile radius from facility.

If traveler has time off during their contract they must turn in the vehicle during time off and they will be issued a new vehicle when they return.

If you would like tire chains for vehicle this is will be an additional cost billed to traveler.

Vehicle must be cleaned before return and with a full tank of gas.
