Job Description:
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in cellular analysis, examination, and interpretation of cytology samples. They will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will ensure accurate results by adhering to laboratory safety standards and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performs specialized and technically demanding cytology examinations to determine pathological conditions
* Maintains laboratory equipment, supplies, and records following established accreditation guidelines and quality control standards
* Accurately enters data and results within the laboratory information system
* Operates, calibrates, and maintains equipment
* Prepares and maintains Cytology inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating supply needs, placing orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies
About This Role:
This role requires a strong attention to detail and expertise in cellular analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining cell samples under a microscope, preparing and staining specimens, and analyzing cellular structures. They will provide detailed reports to pathologists and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
