Nuclear Medicine Tech Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Tech works under the direction of a physician and uses radioactive materials for diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely stores and disposes of radioactive materials
- Prepares correct dosages of radioactive materials and administers them to patients
- Operates nuclear instruments and prepares information received from tests for physicians
This job description does not include all duties. The employee will follow instructions and perform other duties as requested by their supervisor.
