We are seeking a .NET/C# Mid-Level Developer to support the DMV Traffic Records Systems (TRS) team on the Project. The primary responsibility of this role will be converting existing TRS applications from Java to .NET, ensuring smooth system transitions and high-quality software delivery. The selected candidate will work closely with business owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate customer requests into technical requirements, create user stories, and coordinate software release schedules. This role requires strong enterprise-level development experience and the ability to provide testing and training support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Azure DevOps.
- Convert existing Java-based applications to .NET while ensuring functionality and performance.
- Design, develop, and implement REST and SOAP web services for seamless system integrations.
- Utilize SQL Server and Oracle for data modeling, querying, and performance tuning.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform application analysis, cost estimation, staffing projections, testing, documentation, and implementation.
- Support testing and training efforts to ensure successful deployment of new systems.
- Utilize GIT and Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and project tracking.
- Maintain best practices in application security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of documented experience developing applications using .NET/C#/ASP.NET Core.
- 3 years of experience using GIT/Azure DevOps for source control and project management.
- 3 years of experience developing applications with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
- 3 years of experience with REST and SOAP web services for system integration.
- 3 years of experience developing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in application analysis, cost estimation, testing, and documentation.
