Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for PeopleSoft incidents and service requests.
- Gather and analyze requirements to design and develop PeopleSoft customizations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed.
- Develop and implement clean, efficient code that adheres to organizational standards and best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure application functionality and performance.
- Provide technical support and guidance to business users and stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for system interfaces to meet business needs across various city departments.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance PeopleSoft applications and processes.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job.
- 2 years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience, including HCM and Finance modules.
- Proficiency with PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, etc.).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface development.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise-level application development.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, modules, and components.
- Familiarity with JavaScript scripting and PeopleSoft integration.
- Proficiency in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a focus on resolving complex problems effectively.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Certification in PeopleSoft application development or related technologies.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
