Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to support the development and optimization of the Child Welfare Technology System. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions in alignment with business goals, stakeholder needs, and technical best practices.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, including Apex development, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integrations. This individual will play a key role in enhancing the platform’s functionality, performance, and sustainability by translating complex business requirements into scalable, user-centric technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and standard configuration tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and refine business and technical requirements.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment of developed solutions; collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain and troubleshoot code, applications, and integrations within the Salesforce environment.
• Monitor and optimize production applications for both performance and reliability.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, and user manuals as needed.
• Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and stakeholder reviews to clarify and validate requirements.
• Track development activities in Jira using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Analyze the impact of proposed changes to existing systems and design future-ready solutions.
• Ensure compliance with organization security policies and perform timely remediation of any vulnerabilities.
• Enforce team development standards, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior developers as needed.
• Participate in governance, technical committees, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize platform capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in Lightning Component development (Aura and/or Lightning Web Components)
• 7 years of experience developing and maintaining Apex code and Apex test classes
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining Visualforce pages
• 7 years of experience with Salesforce integrations involving third-party applications and platforms
• 3 years of experience performing data migrations from legacy systems into Salesforce

Preferred Qualification:

• 1 years of hands-on experience with Copado 
• 1 years of experience with Copado Robotic Testing 
• Experience in issuing and managing Salesforce support tickets
