Senior ETL and Report Developer
We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL and Report Developer to support Medicaid report development and maintenance using Oracle, PL/SQL, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical Medicaid reports while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Medicaid-related reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including CMS reports).
- Design and implement ETL processes and reporting solutions using Oracle, PL/SQL, Power BI, Azure Synapse, and BIRT.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver ad hoc, internal, and federal reports.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with state and federal reporting standards.
- Support the migration of Medicaid reporting systems to cloud architecture as part of an application modernization initiative.
- Work with Agile teams to test, manage, and deploy reporting solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior report developers, establishing best practices and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in programming and designing large-scale web-based distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL scripting, and relational database modeling.
- Experience with ETL tools (Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)).
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (BIRT, Business Objects, Power BI).
- Experience with data warehouses and structured system development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with business users and technical teams.
- Experience working with state government (preferred).
