AKKR Credit Partners was founded in 2017 and is focused on direct lending to middle market technology companies that are either founder-owned and bootstrapped, private equity backed, or public. Opportunistically, the fund also invests in the secondary market, broadly syndicated deals, or participations in debt supporting AKKR buy-outs.
Private Credit Associate Role
The ideal candidate has strong credit fundamentals and is knowledgeable about investing in software companies with recurring revenue streams. Accel-KKR’s culture is built on a strong work ethic and drive to succeed and is one that values authenticity and collaboration. The Credit Fund is looking for a candidate with an intrapreneurial spirit that can wear multiple hats including portfolio management, underwriting, sourcing, and operations. Key responsibilities include :
I. Portfolio Management : Manage a portfolio of 8-10 credit investments
- Monitor borrower reporting requirements and deadlines
- Spread financial statements and spot trends and validate and monitor covenants
- Update reports for the fund’s quarterly portfolio reviews
- Lead regular calls and schedule annual visits with the management teams of the borrower
- Run amendment, waiver, extension, and modification processes
- Work with our internal operations team and third-party loan administrator to ensure loans are accurately setup, tracked, and invoiced
II. Underwriting : Assist in underwriting new opportunities
III. Sourcing : Assist in database and pipeline management
IV. Leverage : Assist in keeping all leverage reporting up to date
V. Operational / Administrative : Assist in various operational tasks
