Title One Teacher spend their day -
- Making a difference in more of the student population through customized instruction time with small groups
- Customize instructions to a small group of students to meet their similar academic goals
- Creating a positive environment for many students to feel comfortable and safe while learning
- Incorporate technology skills into daily learning for all students
About You:
- Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
- Ability to maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development while keeping them confidential.
- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate and meet with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child
- Able to supervise students of various ages in different school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.)
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
- Experience and drive to work within an urban environment
