CDL FLEET DELIVERY DRIVER

Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fleet Delivery Driver to transport large trucks and buses to clients and other business units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, exceptional driving skills, and a commitment to safety. This role requires both local and interstate travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and deliver large trucks and buses to designated locations, including client sites and other business units.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in excellent condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including trip logs and client acknowledgments.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and other team members regarding delivery timelines.
• Assist with loading/unloading or securing vehicles when needed.
• Represent the company with professionalism and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for large vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Proven experience driving and delivering large trucks and buses.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as required.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and secure items up to 80 pounds when necessary.
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods during long-distance travel.
• Physically able to perform vehicle inspections and minor adjustments when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in commercial vehicle transport or delivery.
• Familiarity with GPS and route optimization tools.
