Job Title: ABA Behavior Therapist/RBT

The Role
- You will work directly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisors (PS) to implement individualized ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Under supervision, you will provide one-on-one support and interventions targeting specific behavior goals in various settings, including home, school, and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Client Support: Deliver high-quality ABA therapy sessions to clients, adhering to the behavior intervention plan developed by BCBAs and PS.
- Data Collection: Accurately record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and relevant information during therapy sessions.
- Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure coordinated service delivery and progress monitoring.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (Accel Therapies provides certification if needed)
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities (a minimum of 1 year direct ABA experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive and team-player attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
