About the Job Description
As an ABA Behavior Technician at Accel Therapies, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support and interventions to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
You will work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Program Supervisor (PS) to implement individualized ABA therapy programs and collect data on client progress.
- Direct Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community, following the behavior intervention plan developed by the BCBA and PS.
- Data Collection: Accurately record and maintain data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information during therapy sessions.
- Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies outlined in the individualized treatment plan to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
About the Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for individuals with a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), reliable transportation, and previous experience working as an ABA Therapist with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism are essential qualities for this role.
