Job Summary
The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing client-related activities, staff management, and operational tasks within our organization. This role requires exceptional leadership, clinical expertise, and operational acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments, supervision, and parent/caregiver training for clients.
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and represent the company professionally in all situations.
- Implement treatment plans and track/collect data against goals.
- Supervise and assist Behavior Technicians and Program Supervisors.
- Support internal curriculum and clinical resources to further develop empirically based intervention methods.
- Support other critical functions like quality assurance, training, etc.
- Maintain 30 billable hours per week.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- SUPPORTING THE CLIENT EXPERIENCE FROM THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT PROCESSES (FBAS) AND CLIENT TOURS.
- Assess clients based on ABA principles and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure interventions align with best practices and desired outcomes.
- Strategically plan caseload allocation in collaboration with operations managers.
- Provide guidance and oversight to a team of Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and program supervisors (PSs).
- CDs directly supervise and manage Clinical Supervisors (pod leaders)
- Track and optimize utilization of pod leader(s) to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Support staff development through ongoing training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Lead the interview process for prospective BCBAs and PMs, ensuring a high standard of clinical competency.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training and onboarding programs for new BCBAs and PSs.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and growth initiatives of the organization.
- Maintain a billable target of 30 hours per week while fulfilling leadership and management responsibilities.
- Upholds company policies, procedures, and practices.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field required.
- A valid certification as a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) required.
- Interest and experience in working with individuals with disabilities.
- Demonstrated passion for the field and helping clients and their families.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.
