Developmental Disabilities Support Worker Job
We are seeking a dedicated Developmental Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Accel Therapies. As an ABA Therapist, you will work closely with clients, BCBAs, and Program Supervisors to implement individualized ABA therapy programs and achieve measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community.
- Data Management: Record and maintain accurate data on client progress, behavior observations, and other relevant information.
- Behavior Intervention: Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure the coordinated delivery of services and progress monitoring.
- Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing training and meetings to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Previous experience working with individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Previous childcare experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
