Accel Unlimited LLC. is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in project estimating, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. We are offering a competitive commission-based position that starts with a weekly draw while you build your book of business. This is the perfect opportunity to join our team as the season starts to build.
Essential Functions
Visit and evaluate client’s homes for potential flooring installation
Communicate with retail partners and team members regarding new and current projects to ensure correct product is sold to complete their project
Prepare estimates and provide shopping lists based on home evaluation
Ensure timely completion of estimates
Understand scope of work to bid
Provide suggestions to potential clients as to what product might best suit their needs
Establish and maintain working relationships with business partners and subcontractors
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to engage anyone that is shopping in the store. Able to change conversation delivery based on the audience to whom you are speaking and the ability to build a genuine rapport with prospects while in the aisle or home
Ability to learn quickly and manage time affectively while in the store or customer’s home
Driven and resourceful in finding new approaches to ensure his/her message is resonating with potential customers to increase close %
Ability to problem-solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements that could help to grow the business
Determine a reasonable solution and communicate that to installers and office personnel
Familiarity or ability to quickly learn about products sold in the retail location to better inform the customer of potential solutions
Ability to Communicate using technology.
Ability to use online tools to manage the customer information and job execution
Able to multi-task
Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
Education and Experience
Preferred- Customer Service or personal sales in retail environment
Work Environment / Physical Demands/ Tools Needed:
Part-time in Large retail location with concrete floors
May be walking for 2-3 hours at a time, as needed to generate more leads
In customer’s home to evaluate projects and provide a written estimate
Requirements for Employment:
Reliable transportation
Willing to take and Pass a Federal Background Check
Smart Phone & Tablet or Laptop in order to enter new leads and/or estimates in proprietary software
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Commission based 8 % Plus gas receipts
