NOW HIRING: Infection Preventionist (RN)
Infection Preventionist Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the facility’s infection prevention and control program
- Educate and train staff on infection control policies and best practices
- Monitor, track, and report infection data and trends
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CDC guidelines
- Collaborate with the nursing team and leadership to enhance infection prevention measures
Infection Preventionist Qualifications:
- New Jersey RN license
- Infection Prevention & Control certification (IP-BC or similar) preferred or willingness to obtain
- CIC certification
- Deep knowledge of infection control rules (think CDC guidelines)
- Understanding of all those regulations
