Principal Data Engineer Opportunity – Houston, TX

Are you passionate about building scalable data platforms and driving advanced analytics? We’re hiring a Principal Data Engineer to join a leading organization in the automotive industry and an innovative Data and Analytics team in Houston, TX (4 days per week in office, 1 wfh) .

What You’ll Do :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using tools like Databricks, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Optimize data systems for advanced analytics and real-time processing.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement cloud-based solutions leveraging platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

What You Bring :

  • Expertise in big data tools, SQL, Python, and CI / CD workflows.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
