Our company is building a deep learning Photonic Processor from scratch, where Machine Learning algorithms in the Data Center are 8x quicker than GPUs while using a fraction of the power.
As a Digital Design Engineer, you will:
Digital Design Responsibilities
- Develop micro-architecture and execute RTL design for managing photonic communication and compute technologies in digital design.
- Collaborate with analog and photonic architects to specify functionality and write design specifications.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
- At least 12 years of experience in ASIC design with multiple successful tape outs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related fields), or Master's degree with 8 years of experience.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital design techniques.
- Familiarity with power-efficient digital design techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in communication protocols (e.g. PCIe).
- Experience interfacing with memory systems (e.g. HBM/DDR5).
- Knowledge of processor design, accelerators, and/or memory hierarchies.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
