Schedule:Monday Tuesday Some Wednesdays (this is a rotating day) Thursdays and 1 Friday a month
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene practices. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Utilize software for patient management and record keeping
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices
- Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient records
