Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to create and update 2D electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. The ideal candidate will also contribute to expanding our existing data library in SolidWorks Electrical.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and modify 2D electrical drawings (schematics, wiring diagrams).
- Utilize SolidWorks Electrical (or AutoCAD Electrical, with training provided).
- Work on 3D CAD as needed (SolidWorks preferred, but experience with other parametric software like Creo or Inventor is acceptable).
- Support customer projects by generating accurate and detailed CAD electrical drawings.
- Maintain and expand the electrical component database.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to optimize designs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (NEC, UL 508A, IEC, etc.).
- Assist with product testing and troubleshooting.
