Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, and train employees while providing ongoing leadership, performance appraisals, and professional development.
- Partner with sales, design engineering, and manufacturing teams to enhance manufacturability and productivity.
- Guide engineering personnel in reviewing and converting design drawings into detailed part drawings and bills of materials.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and operational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a related engineering role.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with steel plate, structural fabrication, and shop practices.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs, resolve issues, and drive change management.
- Evaluate trends, assess business impact, and contribute to long-term organizational growth.
