About the Role
We’re working with a fast-growing manufacturer in Liberty, MO to hire a Manufacturing Engineer for a newly created role. This position was established to support the company’s expansion and continuous improvement efforts as they scale up operations—potentially including a move to a larger facility. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and improve overall production efficiency.
- Lead and support plant layout development and updates using AutoCAD.
- Participate in project planning, process validation, and scaling production capabilities.
- Assist with CapEx initiatives including identification and implementation of new equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Plant Management, and Value Stream leadership.
- Balance assigned priorities (70%) with self-directed process improvement initiatives (30%).
Who You’ll Work With
- Report to: (Plant Manager)
- Partner with: (Design Engineer), (Value Stream Manager)
- Interface with: Engineering, Production, and Operations teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
- 3 years of experience in a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering role
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (especially for layouts)
- Familiarity with project planning, lean methodologies, and process optimization
- Self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a growth environment
- Excellent communicator and team collaborator
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
