We are in need of a Dental Assisting Instructor at our Bowling Green, KY location hosted at Cox Family Dentistry. This includes clinical teaching on Saturdays for 10 weeks during our semesters.

The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below:
- Complete the Instructor Training Course.
- Complete the Instructor Refresher and Accountability Quiz prior to each semester.
- Prepare the dental office for class.
- Prepare by reviewing the class lecture and understanding the clinic stations.
- Review the class checklists and complete each task in its entirety.
- Lead lecture.
- Lead clinic stations.
- Assist in new instructors/liaisons on-boarding process.
- Gather student documents to be sent to Administration.
- Weekly communication with Administration.
- Manage all classroom situations.
- Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system.
- Log compensation into the payroll system at the end of each class day.
- Sign up to teach specific class days on the instructor schedule prior to the start of the upcoming semester.
Position Qualifications:·
Ability to communicate effectively with students
· Positive, fun, and caring attitude
· HS Diploma/GED or transcripts from HS or College, Dental Training Certificates, 2 years work experience in dental assisting
· CPR certificate and Radiology Certificate required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $31.25 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 9 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
