Job Overview: The Project Manager Assistant will support project managers in coordinating and overseeing construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a basic understanding of commercial construction. Key Responsibilities:
Support Project Management:
- Assist project managers in planning and executing construction projects.
- Help prepare project schedules and timelines.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to project managers.
Coordinate with Subcontractors:
- Act as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Communicate project requirements and updates to subcontractors.
- Resolve issues and discrepancies in coordination with project managers.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate project records and files.
- Update and manage project documentation.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Manage Office Personnel:
- Oversee and coordinate tasks with other office staff.
- Provide guidance and support to office personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong people skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in an office environment.
- Capable of managing responsibilities for multiple supervisors.
- Experience in management is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
