Position Overview:
Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- Full-time will be 12 shifts per month with 2 on-call shifts per month (8 am to 9 pm).
- Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
- DEA Certificate
