Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate family nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Treat patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics, with empathy and compassion
- Conduct thorough physical exams and provide diagnoses based on medical history, symptoms, and test results
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and point-of-care testing
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering laboratory tests
- Maintain accurate and timely records using electronic medical records (EMRs)
Requirements:
- Completion of a formal Master's degree program in nursing or health sciences, specifically in family nurse practitioner or physician assistant studies
- Active and unencumbered licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the state of California
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with one hour breaks, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
