Position Title: Urgent Care Staff Physician
Location: Dana Point, CA
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time Available
Salary: $150/hourly plus Malpractice with Tail
Bonuses: Sign-on and Retention for Full-time Only
Position Overview:
Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics in Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a full-time or part-time Urgent Care Staff Physician for our clinics in Orange County, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
- F/T will be a minimum of 12 shifts per month and P/T will be 6 shifts per month.
- Physicians will have 2 on-call shifts/month and manage 4 mid-level providers.
- Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low-acuity setting.
- Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
- Equipment: We offer In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-rays. All X-rays are reviewed by a Board-Certified Radiologist, and results are available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
- Easy-to-use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)
- Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program
- Truly Board-Eligible or Board-Certified
- CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
- DEA Certificate
