We are seeking a SharePoint Administrator & Systems Analyst who will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of SharePoint tools and field office systems to enhance oversight, document tracking, and business process efficiency. This role involves workflow creation, document management, data analysis, and process improvement efforts to support the Business & Contract Management Team (BCM) at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The ideal candidate will have experience in SharePoint administration, workflow automation, and data analysis to support federal oversight functions.
Location/Travel:
This will be a full-time role mostly on site at LANL with some remote work.
Duties and responsibilities could include:
- SharePoint Administration
- Develop and implement SharePoint tools to educate, track, and document Field Office activities.
- Design workflows to manage staff entries and approval processes efficiently.
- Upload new documents, remove outdated versions, and maintain version control.
- Create design improvements to streamline SharePoint tools for a seamless user experience.
- Gather user feedback and integrate suggestions to enhance usability.
- Generate and analyze SharePoint reports to assist management in oversight activities.
Systems Administration & Management
- Oversee Field Office systems related to business process tracking and reporting.
- Create and maintain structured templates, formats, and tracking sheets for process improvements.
- Perform data gathering, entry, and quality checks to ensure information accuracy.
- Support Public Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs by coordinating and tracking pertinent communications (e.g., talking points, meeting notes, and communications plans).
- Assist with the development and maintenance of internal publications, newsletters, and organizational resources.
- Plan teaming and employee engagement meetings, including content development and logistics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 9 years’ experience in SharePoint administration, business systems management, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (additional experience may be substituted for a degree per contract guidelines).
- Expertise in workflow automation, document management, and process analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve business processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience with government or federal contracting environments is a plus.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
