Position Summary
Production Associates perform an array of tasks including but not limited to: Hand assembly of various components within the timeframe set by the company, use of small tools, quality checks, warehouse duties, inventory duties, cleaning, small machine operation, and/ or any other task assigned by the manager. This is a full-time, first shift position required to work eight-hour shifts with overtime as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build product in the correct, timely and most cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with quality necessities and specifications.
- Perform quality checks on parts.
- Learn about various types of building materials and technical terms to ensure future growth and knowledge.
- Follow all job tracking procedures.
- Follow safety guidelines set forth by the company.
- Follow all company policies in accordance with Accelevation’s Employee Handbook.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Become forklift certified if deemed necessary by the manager.
- Perform all other tasks assigned by the manager.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Requires pulling, pushing, cutting, assembling, lifting, and moving parts between 25-50 pounds.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to follow instructions and execute with thoroughness and follow-through.
Experience
- At least one year of previous assembly experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
