As a Staff Engineer at our digital transformation agency, you will be instrumental in delivering high-impact technical solutions for our clients. You'll collaborate closely with both internal teams and clients, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and develop scalable software solutions that meet client requirements, both functional and non-functional
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with clients to understand their business challenges and translating them into actionable technical solutions
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to create cohesive project plans that meet both client and company objectives
- Serve as a technical leader, setting best practices for coding, design, and architecture within the team, and ensuring consistent quality across projects
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guiding team members to maintain a high level of technical excellence
- Lead complex technical projects from planning through deployment, coordinating with clients to keep them informed on progress, roadblocks, and solutions
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in codebase, performance, and scalability, driving technical strategies that add value for clients
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and technical expertise
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, introducing tools and practices that can enhance client outcomes
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in development and production, ensuring reliability and high availability for client solutions
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of architecting, developing, and deploying solutions
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C , Go) and familiarity with relevant frameworks
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues to provide effective solutions
- Proven experience in a client-facing role, with strong communication and presentation skills for collaborating directly with clients
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects involving cross-functional teams and clients
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineers to uphold high standards and drive continuous improvement
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and modern software development practices
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting in complex production environments
