Businesses and consumers continue to demand increasing data services at an exponential rate -- streaming, deep learning, analytics, loT connectivity, and more. What this means is higher performing CPUs, GPU’s, computer components, servers, and ultimately Data and Edge computing centers, all generating excessive heat that is increasingly difficult to manage with traditional cooling systems. Accelsius is developing revolutionary direct-to-chip, 2-phase cooling technologies that empower and enable Server OEMs, Data Centers, Edge Computing Operators, and 5G Edge deployments to meet performance, sustainability, scale, and cost goals while serving this high-growth market for data services.
Accelsius is looking for a controller to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to be a key contributor to the success of our company, playing a pivotal role in a very high growth technology company. This position will report directly to the CFO and will provide an excellent opportunity to develop and manage accounting and internal control processes covering the entire company’s business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing financial accounting activities, with particular focus on SOX compliance, including documentation, control reviews and related approvals
- Ensure account reconciliations are performed in a timely manner; review and approve reconciliations performed by other finance team members
- Assist with accounting functions related to revenue such as invoicing, collections, and credit approval
- Review and approve employee expense reports
- Review and approve invoices for payment processing
- Responsible for accounting matters related to revenue recognition, A/R reserves, warranty expense and sales tax
- Reporting related to warranty insurance coverage and claims
- Monthly SOX reporting and documentation
- Assist with other finance-related functions as needed
- Support the annual audit process
Qualifications for this role include:
- 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in an accounting related or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA is a plus
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with SOX controls
- Experience with revenue recognition, A/R, A/P and sales tax is a plus
