Job Description:
The Supply Specialist for Inventory/Stock Readiness is responsible for executing the daily tasks associated with the
maintenance of the Site’s stock record accountability and inventory accuracy goals to include maintenance, stock
integrity, stock readiness, and stock accuracy for warehoused accountable material. The Supply Specialist for
Inventory/Stock Readiness will utilize a Stock Readiness/Physical Inventory Control Program (PICP) that maintains the
integrity of mission stock asset balances in accordance with established Government policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Ability to understand and meet the productivity goals associated with assigned functional area / process to reporting
teammates.
2. Follows established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) and Technical Manuals.
3. Ability to understand and execute various task IAW with site established Physical Inventory Control Program
(PICP). Capable of executing the program and meeting required company and contract metrics.
4. Understand and execute the technical aspects of inventory and storage management functions (Receiving /
Induction, Customer requisitions, and Transportation).
5. Capable of executing Causative Adjustments Research Plan: perform causative research and reconcile inventory
adjustments in stock records within required timeframes. Communicate with warehouse on measures to improve
and maintain inventory accuracy goals.
6. Capable of executing Stock Readiness Program: perform in-storage inspections, minor repair of packaging, and
limited testing of material to detect deterioration of material and/or packaging, site and global records are updated,
and provide timely updates to material attributes (i.e., identification, unit of pack, unit of issue, etc.)
7. Capable of executing Supply Discrepancy Plan: Ability to prepare, submit, monitor, and resolve supply discrepancy
reports (customer complaint discrepancies and internal stock discrepancies). Communicate with customer when
necessary to provide resolution.
8. Capable of executing Physical Inventories Program: monitoring daily warehouse / cyclic inventories. Perform
research and reconciliations to correct imbalances and prevent order denials. Organize Sample Inventory schedule
and oversee to improve overall stock accuracy levels.
9. Perform routine workload analysis from storage management generated reports and prepare reports for
management review.
10. Provide customer support responding to requests for information, inspections and various inventory related statuses
with specified time frames.
11. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and
work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
12. Provide timely and accurate records and reports as required.
13. Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
14. Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
15. Other duties assigned in association with established Stock/Readiness/Physical Inventory Control Plan (PICP), and
management requirements.
