JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Manager oversees the warehouse, inventory, storage and distribution operations directing employees engaged in receiving, storing, issue, shipment and distribution of materials, equipment, and commodities using automated and manual material handling equipment, devices, and systems. Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected or actual workload. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW work schedules, methods, policies, and procedures established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager. Redirects resources to accomplish work demands and meet APLs and other performance metrics. Assists with the planning of work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, staffing and other resource needs, and provides recommendations to ensure accurate, timely completion of work activities. Uses WMS and other Government and company furnished data systems to perform PWS and company requirements.
Acts as primary POC for planning and scheduling workforce to execute mission and contract requirements on North Island or other assigned areas or responsibility. Prepares, monitors and ensures workforce adheres to audit readiness requirements and associated contract requirements.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand and meet established productivity and quality control goals associated with assigned functional area / process.
Ability to allocate resources (labor, equipment, supplies) to effectively meet mission requirements.
Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards.
Adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures.
Ability to use e-mail to receive and disseminate workload tasks and information.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned in association with established Management and Contract Compliance Plan, Storage Plan and workload requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a distribution and warehousing environment using a WMS or equivalent automated system within the past five (5) years.

Possess a valid Driver’s License
Fluent in speaking, reading and writing the English language
Military or DLA Distribution Center experience preferable
Skilled in planning, controlling, managing, and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements.
Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels, in support of our customer relationships; demonstrated self-confidence, particularly with client relationships; strong relationship building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, teammates, customers, and the general public.
Computer literate with proven experience using a warehouse management system (WMS).
Ability to provide professional, effective supervision in a challenging work environment
Good working knowledge level of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to successfully completion of WMS training, OSHA compliance, DLA SOP training and various company training requirements.
MISCELLANEOUS / OTHER:
Ability to stand, squat, and have full range of motion, wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as needed for job duties, lift at least 40 pounds, and see, hear and respond to dangerous situations.
