Journeyman Glazier

Job Overview
We are seeking MULTIPLE skilled Commercial Glaziers to join our team. The ideal commercial candidate will have experience in installing Aluminum Storefront Windows and Entrances, Curtainwall, and Interior Heavy Glass Systems. This role requires attention to detail, precision in measurements, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Glazier will be responsible for ensuring that all glass installations meet safety standards and customer specifications.

Must be accountable both with your dependability in attendance and overall quality of work.

Responsibilities
- Install and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures.
- Fabricate glass as per project specifications.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure airtight and watertight installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
- Assemble frames and install hardware for glass fixtures.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Experience with hand tools commonly used in glazing work.
- Strong skills in caulking and sealing techniques.
- Familiarity with door hanging practices and storefront door hardware.
- General maintenance person skills that complement glazing work are advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
