What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at Accent on Vision Albuquerque?
Our fast-paced office is seeking a full-time employee as a Front Desk Coordinator. Experience in the field of optometry is preferable but not required. We will train the right person. Ability to understand health and vision insurance is essential to the position. We are looking for a friendly, well-organized, and highly efficient person who gets along well with others and can make patients feel comfortable and welcome. Duties and Desired Skills
- Acknowledge and greets patients as they walk into the office, in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Answers and responds to telephone inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Responsible for verifying all insurances ahead of time and discuss out-of-pocket fees with all incoming patients
- Maintains a clear understanding of insurance plans and is able to communicate insurance information to the patient
- Schedule and monitor appointments
- Comfortable with computers and technology in a health care environment.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas of the office
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Understand privacy and the importance of dependability
- Strive for excellence and always work to do more than you are asked to do
- Bilingual desired but not required
Monday - Friday 8:00AM -5:00PM
No weekends!

Pay: $14.00 - $18.50 per hour
