Job Overview:
Accent Prone is a family-owned and operated retail business that specializes in furniture and home accents. By sourcing and offering distinctive furniture and décor, our curated collection of home furnishings aims to inspire customers to break away from conventional trends and big box store designs. After eleven (almost 12) years of business, Accent Prone has grown from one brick and mortar store to multiple retail locations, warehouses, and an online store, all backed by a talented team of creative individuals! We are looking for a dynamic, part-time sales associate that will handle the following responsibilities:
- Greet and offer assistance to all customers in a friendly and polite manner, practice active listening, and educate about any current promotions.
- Demonstrate willingness and enthusiasm to assist all customer inquiries both in-store and over the phone, and handle all inquiries in a timely manner.
- Operate a point-of-sale system to ring up purchases, collect payment, and issue receipts.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves as needed, and assist in tagging and organizing new products.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment and assist in visual merchandising (styling vignettes, endcap displays, etc.)
- Maintenance around the store including sweeping, dusting, and bathroom cleaning. These tasks are on a rotation basis with the rest of the staff.

Additional Qualifications:
- Basic math and money handling
- Experience in retail, furniture sales and/or interior design is a plus, but not required.
Work Hours, Pay, and Benefits:
- Job location: Accent Prone Kernersville (1022 South Main Street, Kernersville, NC)
- Flexible hours available Monday - Saturday from 9A - 5P (rotating weekends)
- Hourly pay rate dependent on experience, starting at $12 per hour
