Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an accounting assistant to join a busy real estate office in Raleigh. The Accounting Assistant will support a CFO in managing accounts payable, reconciliation, and overall financial tracking. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong analytical skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable entries and related job costing.
• Reconcile bank and vendor statements.
• Track and manage utility payments and City of Raleigh payments.
• Maintain records of job-related expenses, ensuring accurate allocation of bills to respective projects.
• Import data from QuickBooks to our construction software and utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Utilize Google Docs and Office Suite for documentation and communication.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in accounts payable and basic accounting principles.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (ability to pull and import data, write simple formulas; pivot table knowledge is a plus).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a new environment; experience in construction or real estate is not required.
